Studio

Stream to several places at the same time. The simplest way is to paste a stream key: choose your platform from the Custom RTMP presets (YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Kick, Instagram Live, LinkedIn Live, X (Twitter), TikTok Live, Rumble) and the server address fills in for you; any other RTMP URL works too. Twitch also offers one-tap sign-in if you prefer.

  • Camera effects are computed once and fanned out, with no extra GPU cost per destination
  • Custom RTMP includes one-tap presets for 8 platforms: YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Kick, Instagram Live, LinkedIn Live, X (Twitter), TikTok Live, and Rumble; arbitrary RTMP URLs work too
  • Streaming to YouTube needs live streaming enabled on your channel at youtube.com/features (first-time activation can take up to 24 hours)

  1. 1. Pick destinationsStudio

  2. 2. Configure your streamStudio

    Set the title, resolution, and bitrate that match your platform and bandwidth. OwnClip suggests sane defaults for each resolution (4500 kbps for 1080p, 6000 for 1440p), and you can override per session.

    • Keep bitrate under 80% of your upload speed for headroom
    • Match the resolution your viewers will watch on (most platforms transcode anyway)

  3. 3. Go LiveStudio

    Hit Go Live. OwnClip authenticates with each enabled destination, opens RTMP connections, and starts a recording locally, so you have a high-quality copy regardless of stream quality. The button transitions to a live timer with per-platform status pills.

    • A local MP4 backup is recorded automatically, same as a normal recording
    • If one platform fails, the others stay live. Destinations are independent

  4. 4. Watch your stream healthStudio

    The live dashboard shows a confidence monitor (the actual frame your viewers are seeing), real-time bitrate, FPS, dropped-frame counts, and connection quality per destination. If a stream drops below 50% of configured bitrate, you'll see a "Poor" warning.

    • Excellent: ≥75% of configured bitrate, ≤20 cumulative drops
    • Confidence preview reuses already-composited frames: zero extra GPU work
