• Studio is the everyday choice; Broadcast is the safest on projectors and bright rooms
• The look is live — what you see in the bubble is what gets recorded
• Toggle it from the camera bubble or in Settings → Camera

7. Eye ContactBeta

Reading your notes means looking away from the lens, and everyone watching can tell. Turn on Eye Contact in Settings → Camera and OwnClip steers your pupils back toward the camera, so you look at your audience even while you read. Natural corrects small deviations and backs off when you genuinely look away, so glancing at a second screen still reads as a real glance. Stare holds your gaze on the camera continuously, which suits reading a script end to end.

• Pair Stare with the teleprompter to read a full script while holding the camera
• Strength controls how far the correction goes. Start around 70% and adjust from there
• You can also turn Eye Contact on per clip from the video editor, after recording

• Good to know: Eye Contact is applied when you export, not in the live preview, so the recording window will still show your real gaze.
• Good to know: It needs a one-time 292 MB download the first time you switch it on. Until it finishes, recordings export normally with your gaze untouched.
